With a career spanning over three decades, Nicola began as a YTS Hairdresser at 16, rising to salon manager by 23. Her passion for training and love of colour led her to work with Wella Professionals and ghd, travelling globally and gaining invaluable experience. Transitioning into further education, Nicola now drives excellence at VTCT Skills, collaborating with industry experts and training providers. She also leads the VTCT Skills Hair and Barbering Collective, uniting educators and influencers.

Marie Nieuwoudt – Group Education Manager at CLOUD NINE

Marie is an award-winning Group Education Manager at CLOUD NINE with 38 years of experience in the hairdressing industry. She has received extensive professional training from top brands such as L’Oréal and Schwarzkopf and has taught globally, influencing the next generation of hairdressers across the UK, Australia, and the US. Marie is also renowned for judging beauty awards and leading initiatives as a Global Ambassador for CLOUD NINE
