Throughout my hairdressing career the TONI&GUY artistic team has been my number one go-to when it comes to the latest hair trends and inspiration. That’s why I’m seriously excited to have an interview with their International Artistic Director and Head of Education, Cos Sakkas. Recently receiving his first nomination for British Hairdresser of the Year 2018, I’ve so much I want to talk to Cos about today, and I know you’re going to love hearing this, too!

Cos’s story in hairdressing is a great one. It was his visits to his local barber with his dad that inspired Cos into the hair industry, leading him to a fantastic and successful career with TONI&GUY. He is a regular at events, shows and seminars around the world, including London Fashion Week . His passion for all things hairdressing shine through as he educates up-and-coming stylists, works with beauty editors around the world and inspires his clients.

A multi-award winning hairdresser Cos’s titles have included Newcomer of the Year at the British Hairdressing Awards in 1999, along with winning London Hairdresser of the Year three times. And now with his first nomination for a British Hairdresser of the Year 2018, we’re honoured to have him share with us on what this nomination means to him.

Todays interview with Cos is a fantastic insight in to his journey and life of being the International Artistic Director and Head of Education for one of hairdressings most famous global hair names, TONI&GUY! Whether you harbour big goals or not in hair, this is a great conversation with a great bloke. So pour yourself your favourite brew, sit back and relax!
