Championing a new era of hairdressing and the education that allows this, it’s fair to say that todays guest Conor James Doyle is on a mission to do just that!

Conor is back on the show for one heck of a chat. Its a chat that kicks-off learning about his metaphoric rise to becoming one of the industries top content creators with his six-figure following, right through to using his platform to research and open conversations on the neurodiverse needs within the industry, and how education has to change to fulfil these needs.

We go deep in to all of this, and lots more!

We get to hear how during lockdown, Conor lost all his business and he turned to his social media following and embraced real conversations. This brought an opportunity to make people laugh, creating connections of light in a time of darkness. But he also reveals why social media has become a love hate relationship for him.

Dismantling the toxic narrative around hairdressing has become the ethos of Conor’s education and business today. Respect for the industry’s heritage combined with a determination to make fundamental changes for the future, Conor James Doyle is at the core of driving these changes.

If you’re curious to know what this all means, listen in on this episode to fully understand! Enjoy!

Today’s Guest

The last twelve years have seen the award winning Conor James Doyle grow as a hairdresser, educator and content creator.

In 2017, Conor was a highly demanded colour specialist within a Dublin salon, winning three L’Oréal Professionnel Colour Trophy categories in three consecutive years. This was the dawn of the colour evolution and social media boom, and Conor felt compelled to focus his energy on creating engaging, authentic colour content to share on a global platform. In 2018 he launched his own business, ‘Conor James Education’ and travelled the world presenting colour techniques in what would become his signature style.
